  On 2^nd September 2019, the Navjeevan team of MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum (MFJCF) conducted an awareness talk on organ donation at NCC air wing at Fagi, Rajasthan. There were two talks delivered in two different auditoriums of the Fagi NCC camp and each was attended by around 300 students who got sensitized about organ donation and brain death.

  Mrs. Kamla Choudhary and Mrs. Hema were the speakers at the event and they covered the following topics in their talk:

  • Types of organ donation and who can be a donor
  • Difference between natural death and brain death
  • Donation following natural death and brain death
  • Importance of the donor card
  • Registering at MOHAN Foundation to be organ donors

   

  Following the interactive session, the audience was motivated to support the cause and also have a discussion with their families.
