An awareness talk on deceased organ donation was conducted at St. Mary’s Syro Malabar Catholic Church, Athipedu, Ambattur, Chennai on 16th February 2014. MOHAN Foundation got an invitation from Mr. Jose, a member of the parish to speak to the congregation. The objective of the programme was to sensitize the followers on organ donation.
The session was facilitated by Mr. Prakash K. Transplant Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation, Chennai. The programme started with an introduction by Mr. Sebastian of the parish. Mr. Prakash K. spoke about concept of Organ Donation.

At the end of the programme Mr. Jose thanked all participants. More than 90 members attended the programme and all of them expressed their support to pledge for organ donation and picked donor cards.
