Nurses at Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital (RGGGH), Chennai contribute a lot to the success of Deceased Organ Donation Programme. The Transplant Coordinators of MOHAN Foundation initiated a sensitization for the nurses on 01.07.2013 with the staff of Cardiac ICU. During the awareness, grief counseling was focused upon. This was followed by an awareness given to the nurses. The information was shared through one to one interactions. During the interaction the following topics were discussed:
Twelve nurses of Rajiv Gandhi Government General hospital were sensitized and all promised to support the noble cause by signing up the donor card.
