  Organ donations in India are saving lives across diverse identities, but the high costs of transplants prevent many from benefiting. Most transplants occur in costly private hospitals, making them inaccessible to the financially disadvantaged. Governments must make transplants affordable and support post-transplant care; however, till such time as this happens, NGOs like MOHAN Foundation step in to bridge this financial gap. MOHAN Foundation launched Anudaan: Making Transplants Affordable, an initiative to aid economically vulnerable patients in accessing life-saving transplants.   Impact of MOHAN Foundation’s Anudaan initiative

  Thanks to its donors, MOHAN Foundation has been able to support financially underprivileged patients to undergo life-saving transplants, of which majority are children, who can then go on to live long and healthy lives, thereby contributing to nation building.

  61 Organ failure Patients have been Supported as per following details -

  • 40 Liver Transplants,
  • 13 Kidney Transplants
  • 1 Heart Transplant
  • 7 Corneal Transplants
