Mr. Sharad Jighkar, Regional Transport Officer, Giripeth, Nagpur invited MOHAN foundation to conduct an awareness session on organ donation for drivers in his training hall on 20th February 2018. Drivers waiting to get their vehicle registration and driving license were the audience at the Regional Transport Office (RTO) hall.
Mr. Bulu Behera delivered a talk on Organ Donation. In his talk he explained for following points:

v Type of organ donation
v Brain Death, Natural Death and Coma
v Myths related to Organ donation
v Deceased donation case in Nagpur
v Kidney transplant hospital in Nagpur
v Importance of Donor card, Helpline number and website
It was a very interactive session. 45 drivers were present at the talk and 5 drivers signed consent form and picked their donor cards.
The drivers asked the following questions;

What is bone marrow?
What difference between coma and brain death?
