Dr.Vidya Viswanath, Medical Director-Palliative Care and Dr.N.S.Raju, Medical director-Geriatric Care from Age Care Foundation, Visakapatnam invited MOHAN Foundation to make a presentation on organ donation to senior citizens and general public at Sneha Sandhya Foundation, Visakapatnam on 12th November 2013.
Dr.P.V.G.K Murthy, Founder Chairman, Sneha Sandhya Foundation and Age Care Foundation also attended the presentation.
Dr.A.V.N Chetty, Vice-Chairman, MOHSIN Eye Bank spoke on Eye donation and Dr.Bhanu Chandra, MOHAN Foundation made a presentation on Brain Death and importance of Organ Donation.
Around 120 members attended the session. Donor cards, information brochures were distributed and some members of the audience said that they already pledged for whole body donation and now they were also interested in pledging Organs. Finally, everyone pledged for organ donation.
