On 12th November 2013, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Ms.K.R Rajani, Chief Convener, Andhra University Research Forum to make a presentation on Organ Donation to Andhra University Students and Professors at Andhra University Auditorium, Visakapatnam. This was initiated by Dr.Vidya from Age Care Foundation, Visakapatnam.
Dr.Bhanu Chandra, MOHAN Foundation made the presentation on Brain Death, importance of Organ Donation, Myths involved in Organ donation and MOHAN Foundation activities.
Around 150 students and professors from various departments attended the presentation. Several questions were raised by the students and professors on Brain Death, Coma, Organ preservation and distribution.
Mr. G.S.N Raju, Vice-Chancellor, Andhra University also attended the presentation and at the end of the presentation he applauded MOHAN Foundation’s activities.
