MOHAN Foundation was invited by Lion. Vijayalakshmi to make presentation on Organ Donation to National Cadets Corps at Andhra Pradesh Police Academy, Himayat Sagar, on 17th June 2014.
It was a national camp for 650 cadets from 17 regions of the country.
Dr.Bhanu Chandra, MOHAN Foundation explained about importance of Organ donation, ways of organ transplantations, Brain death, Transplantation of Human Organs Act, 1994, and myths associated with Organ donation and about donor card.
A video about “Swamy Narayan Life Savers’ program was also shown to cadets.
Col Sharma, In charge for the camp appreciated MOHAN Foundation’s activities and also motivated the cadets to pledge their organs.
Donor cards and information brochures were distributed.
