On October 6, 2017, MOHAN Foundation was invited to conduct an awareness session on organ donation for students at Raisoni School of Business Management, Near Railway station, Nagpur.
Dr. Devendra Ramteke, Director of Raisoni school of Business Management at Nagpur took the initiative to organize the session in the college. Coordinator Shriram Joshi introduced the speaker Dr. Ravi Wankhede to the participants and gave a small brief about MOHAN Foundation.
Dr. Ravi Wankhede talk focused on basic concepts of organ donation and transplantation, cornea donation, Brain death/coma, tissue donation after cardiac death and Transplantation of Human Organ Act 1994. A five minute video about Prime Minister’s Man- ki- Baat.
Around 50 students attended the talk and 3 donor cards were picked up. Dr. Ramteke gave vote of thanks to Dr.Ravi Wankhede.
