On 25th April 2018, Mr. Raju Sekhar, Police SI, Ravi Nagar Police Station, Nagpur invited MOHAN Foundation, to give a talk on Deceased Organ Donation and Transplantation.
Mr. Bulu Behera Transplant Coordinator of MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur Center gave a talk on organ donation. Types of death, what is natural death, what are the tissues that can be donated after Natural death? What is brain stem death and what are the organs and tissues that can be donated after brain stem death? Why is there a need for green corridor during transportation of an organ. What is the role of police for organ donation? The importance of donor card, how it helps people to speak about organ donation, the value of wearing helmet while riding. He also requested to visit the MOHAN Foundation website and call the helpline number for any more queries

2) Till today how many people have signed to give consent to donate their organs?
3) What is the cost for kidney transplant?
The session highlighted how they can be part of this noble cause by pledging their organs, and help save lives by completing inquest formalities in time. 30 police staff attended the session and three of them picked donor cards.
