On March 24, 2025, Ms Bhavani Priya, Intern at MOHAN Foundation and a student of Nazareth College of Arts and Science, Avadi, Chennai organized an awareness program for students of Masters of Social Work.
The event commenced with Welcome Address by Ms Bhavani Priya, who introduced the guest to the students. All students were given information brochures. She then spoke on organ donation and transplantation, types of donations, brain death, myths and facts on donation and how to pledge as organ donor. Mr Ganesh C, Marketing Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation summed up the session and spoke on the effective usage of organ donation helpline number 1800 103 7100, and importance of youth in creating awareness on organ donation.
Dr. Asha, Assistant Professor, Social Work Department, concluded the session with a vote of thanks, 23 students participated and 3 picked up donor cards.
