MOHAN Foundation was invited for an awareness program by one of the luxury car companies – Marqland Jaguar Showroom and Service in Bengaluru on 9th January 2018 at 11 am. Mr. Siva Shankar from Chennai and Mr. Krishnan from Bengaluru were deputed to do the session. The awareness sessions were done at two venues.
Mr. Siva Shankar started the session by playing a video on gaining an overall knowledge about Organ donation. He further started the presentation to explain in detail about the concept of organ donation to the staff. The topics that were discussed:
The session went on for 40 minutes. The session was then followed by Mr. Krishnan who shared his experience about his kidney transplant which happened in 1997 the time when MOHAN Foundation was born. Everyone gave a round of applause to Mr. Krishnan for his continued contribution to the promotion of organ donation in Bangalore after his transplant. There was around 70 staff both from the showroom and service department. 35 registered as donors and picked up their donor card.
