MOHAN Foundation was invited for an awareness program by one of the luxury car company – Marqland Jaguar Showroom in Mangalore on 10th January 2018 at 11 AM.
Mr. Siva Shankar was deputed from MOHAN Foundation to conduct the awareness session. He started the talk with concepts of Organ Donation and the need of Organ Donation. Before that he started with a question “What comes to their minds when the term Organ donation is said?”.
Everyone said it’s saving lives after death. So to make it clear Mr. Siva Shankar presented the concept in detailed manner which made them to understand what actually Organ Donation is.
The session went on for 35 minutes. There were some questions asked by the participants. They were:
Mr. Siva Shankar ended the session with a video of a donor who gave his/her organs after death and saved up to nine lives. Of the 20 staff that attended the program, 16 registered themselves as donors and picked a donor card.
