Sri Yoga Narasimha Swamy Temple in Sholinghur (Thirukkatikai) in one among the 108 Lord Vishnu temples considered as Divya Desam in Vaishnavism. It has a great significance in Hindus mythology. An annually cart festival is conducted by April or May. It is a 10 day celebration in which the idol of the God Yoga Narasimha is rallied around the town, in different vahanas (chariots) and decorations and one among the day the idol is seated on a giant chariot.
On May 02, 2023 the chariot rally was held and a huge mob of over 500 people were gathered on the occasion. They participate in pulling the chariot and to worship. Mr Ganesh used this opportunity to create awareness on organ donation and helpline 1800 103 7100. Over 320 information brochures were distributed to selective audiences / He walked around throughout the journey wearing t-shirt containing awareness on organ donation. This made many people to approach him and question for the cause.
