  On 20^th May 2023, Dr. Neena, Ambassador, MOHAN Foundation, Assistant Professor in B.R.M College of Education Gharaunda, Haryana, Lay Lecturer First Aid in St. John Ambulance India and Brigade Officer in Red Cross Karnal Haryana organized awareness talk on Organ Donation at Haryana Police Academy Maduban Karnal, Haryana.

  Dr. Neena addressed the session of 25 plus in-service police officers that comprised of DSP, ASI, Inspector and other police officers.

  In this talk, she explained the following points: -

  • Organ donation and its need
  • When and how does organ donation take place
  • Organs that can be donated during life and after death
  • The transplant waiting list in India
  • Difference between brain and coma
  • Contradictions to organ donation
  • Role of MOHAN Foundation

  At the end, Dr. Neena gave vote of thanks. The session was very interactive where Police Officers enthusiastically asked many questions eager to learn more about organ donation. The entire group got motivated and convinced to support organ donation. All of them pledged for Organ Donation.
