On August 14, 2025, MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur, was invited to conduct an organ donation pledge drive for PG students at MASICON Hall, GMCH, Nagpur. The event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Gayatri Sabne, who extended the invitation to MOHAN Foundation. On behalf of the Foundation, Ms. Veena Wathore and Ms. Neha Sailwar participated in the session.
The session commenced with an introductory speech by Ms. Veena Wathore, who highlighted the importance of organ donation and transplantation. She further guided the students on the process of pledging for organ donation and motivated them to take part in the noble cause.
Following this, all the students and doctors present took the oath of organ donation, reaffirming their support for saving lives through this act. After the pledge ceremony, a group photo session was held with the participants.
In total, around 20 students attended the drive, out of which 10 students formally took the pledge for organ donation.
MOHAN Foundation sincerely acknowledges the support of GMCH Nagpur and Dr. Gayatri Sabne for organizing this pledge drive and providing a valuable platform to engage with young medical professionals on the importance of organ donation.
