On August 13, 2025, the MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur team actively participated in the World Organ Donation Day Rally organized at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Nagpur, under the ‘Angdaan- Jeevan Sanjeevani Abhiyan’ under the aegis of NOTTO.
The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, nurses, doctors, NCC cadets and representatives from various departments. Representing MOHAN Foundation, Ms. Veena Wathore and Ms. Neha Sailwar took part in the event with great dedication.
As a contribution to the rally, MOHAN Foundation distributed placards, posters and green ribbons to students, symbolizing support for the cause of organ donation. These efforts enhanced visibility and strengthened awareness among both participants and the general public.
During the event, all participants took the Organ Donation Pledge, reaffirming them commitment to promoting the noble cause of saving lives through organ donation. The rally concluded with a photo session with students, nurses, and NCC cadets, capturing the collective spirit of solidarity and awareness for this life-saving mission.
MOHAN Foundation sincerely acknowledges the support of Dr. Raj Gajbhiye, Dean and Dr. Dhananjay Selukar, Nodal Officer, GMCH Nagpur, along with all collaborating institutions, for organizing this impactful initiative. The rally served as a powerful platform to spread awareness and inspire individuals to pledge for organ donation. Nearly 400 students and staff participated, making the event a resounding success.
