On Sunday, March 19, 2023, the MOHAN Foundation put up an information desk on organ donation at a blood donation camp held at the Moria Club in Moria Goa. The camp was organised by Caring Souls and Associacao Academica de Moria in collaboration with North Goa District Hospital (Blood Bank) Mapusa.
The camp was held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Around 28 people came forward to donate blood, but only 25 were fit to donate. Most of the people had donated previously, but a couple were first-timers.
Mr. Gabriel Pereira, from the MOHAN Foundation, gave FAQs on organ donation to the people who visited the camp. Close to 35 people were handed the FAQs, and one person pledged to donate his organs.
