On 22nd March 2023, MOHAN Foundation invited to be a part of an Organ Donation rally organised on the occasion of Gudi Padwa. Mr. Shreehas Churi invited Ms. Shamika Singh from MOHAN Foundation to participate and spread awareness regarding organ donation during the rally. Various organization took part in the rally to support and promote different social cause.
Lion’s Club of Mumbai, this year supported and promoted organ donation. Mr. Bhavesh Dhanecha, President of Lion’s club Mumbai and Mr, Bhagvan Kondvalkar, vice president of Lion’s club Mumbai participated in the Rally. The rally covered the distance of 6 km around Vitthal Mandir, near Virar station, Mumbai.
More than 600 people were part of this rally. 4 people consented to donate organs while interacting during the rally. It was a great initiative to be a part of.
