On June 27, 2024, Mr. Gabriel Pereira, Organ Donation Ambassador for the MOHAN Foundation, set up an Organ Donation Information Desk at a blood donation camp organized by Bieia and Esteem Industries in collaboration with the Goa Medical College Blood Bank in Bambolim.
The camp ran from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Approximately 55 people volunteered to donate blood, with 51 being eligible to do so. Most participants had donated blood previously, while a few were first-time donors.
Mr. Gabriel Pereira distributed FAQs on organ donation to attendees, with nearly 60 people receiving the information. He also presented a brief animated video on organ donation created by Shweta Gupta.
