On June 29, 2024, Mr. Gabriel Pereira, Organ Donation Ambassador for the MOHAN Foundation, set up an Organ Donation Information Desk at the Blood Donation Camp held at Hirabai Hall in Bicholim, Goa. The camp was organized by Math United in collaboration with the Lions Club of Bicholim and the Goa Medical College—Blood Bank, Bambolim, Goa. It took place from 9 am to 1 pm, with approximately 50 individuals coming forward to donate blood.
The camp was held in loving memory of the late Mr. Gaurish Dangui. Mr. Pereira showcased two videos on the screen: one explaining brain death and a brief animated presentation about organ donation by Shweta Gupta. He distributed around 60 FAQs and engaged in conversations with individuals about organ donation, emphasizing the importance of pledging to donate.
