On March 26, 2026, MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur set up an Organ Donation Information Desk during the Ram Navami procession at Bajaj Nagar, in front of Matru Sewa Sangh Institute of Social Work, to spread awareness about the “Gift of Life.”
Ms. Neha Sailwar supervised the desk, with support from Mr. Dhiraj Kurve and Ms. Veena Wathore. Fieldwork students—Sanjana Ghode, Saloni Kaur, Mamta Bhandekar, Harshal Patange, Dhanashree Chopdey, Sahil Thorat, Anchal Dhumne, Abhishek Kesari, and Yogesh Sidam—actively volunteered and assisted in managing the desk. Mr. Ramesh Bhisikar, Ambassador of MOHAN Foundation, also contributed to the initiative.
The team distributed around 1,000 water bottles and 500 brochures while engaging with the public and sharing information on organ donation. The initiative reached approximately 3,000 people.
MOHAN Foundation expressed gratitude to Mr. Prathmesh Thakre for his support in organizing the stall and ensuring the successful execution of the activity.
