ON, 22nd April 2015 an awareness session was conducted for the students of Government Model High School, Sector-41, Chandigarh .Around 150 students participated and they were from 10th standard. The Head Master of the school was very supportive of the cause and two teachers also attended the session.
The students were given a presentation on the phenomenon of Brain Death and the process of organ donation through a presentation and videos by the Program Coordinator Nilakshi. The myths and misconception associated with organ donation were also discussed and got cleared. The donor cards were shown to them. They asked very relevant questions regarding Blood as well as Organ Donation.
Information brochures were also given to those who asked for it.
