On 24th November 2013, a session on Deceased Organ Donation was conducted for the employees of a branch of HDFC Bank. The talk took place at Mile Stone, HDFC Bank, Ramdashpeth, Nagpur. Dr. Ravi Wankhede, Director MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur, used a powerpoint presentation to talk about the Concepts of Organ Donation. He discussed about brain death, coma and natural death, types of donors and organs that can be donated. He spoke about the need for donation, law that regulates donation and importance of donor card.
There were 20 employees present at the talk. All of them received information brochures and 16 of them picked up donor cards.
