An awareness talk on organ donation was organised at St. Alphonsa Syro Malabar Church, Pozhichallur, Chennai on 2nd February 2014. The session was organised by Mr. Sebastin, a member of the parish in order to create awareness on the organ donation. The session was conducted by Mr. Jeyabal M Transplant Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation, Chennai.
The programme started with an introductory speech given by parish priest on motivating the gathering to donate their organs after death. Mr. Jeyabal gave a PowerPoint presentation on the concept of organ donation. In his session he covered following topics:
