Organ Donation Awareness programme at Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering

  On 5^th March 2012, Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering at Manimangalam, along with Rotary club of Nungambakkam as a part of their monthly social awareness programme, invited MOHAN Foundation to give an awareness talk on Organ Donation to the students.  

   

  Mr. Vijay, Transplant Coordinator, briefed the students on the concept of Organ Donation and the importance of donating organs. Almost 200 students gathered for this talk. They had a number of queries about the organ donation process, which was then explained to them.

   

   Mr. Prabhu Ramakrishnan, Principal, Dhanalakshmi Engineering college emphasized that the need for donating organs was on the rise and everyone should come forward and pledge for this noble cause.
