As a followup to the Organ Donation awareness conducted to the students earlier, an awareness session was organized for teachers of Vidya Peetam School, Sholinghur during Teachers’ meeting.
On August 12, 2023, Teachers’ meeting was organized by the school management to discuss about the proceedings of upcoming sports day. Mr. Ganesh C, Marketing Coordinator, utilized this opportunity to enlighten the teachers about organ donation and transplantation, brain death, availing organ through govt., Myths, scams, pledging as organ donor and effective usage of organ donation helpline number 1800 103 7100.
Totally 41 teachers participated and 28 of them picked up donor card.
