  Mr. Fazul Rahman Qureshi, the Youth Wing President of the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) invited Mr. Bulu Behera, Transplant Coordinator of MOHAN Foundation to put up a stall on 8^th July 2021 in the Kasabpura locality in Nagpur. The locality predominantly houses Muslim families.

  Mr. Behera spoke about the following during his interaction with stall visitors:

  • The status of organ donation in India – donation rates and organ requirement
  • Difference between natural death and brain death
  • Age not being a constraint in organ donation
  • Myths and facts related to organ donation
  • Role of ZTCC in organ donation
  • Organ donor stories
  • Importance of donor cards
  • Registering in MOHAN Foundation’s website to pledge organs after death
  • MOHAN Foundation’s Mission and Vision
