Organ Donation Awareness for Geolife Agritech, Karnataka Chapter

  Geolife Foundation, the CSR wing of Geolife Agritech Pvt. Ltd., in collaboration with MOHAN Foundation, at a pan-India level, had organized online awareness sessions on organ donation as part of the Organ Donation Week celebrations.

  On 13^th August 2020 Mrs. Ranjini Shankar M S (Project Manager), Mrs. Sheetal Mundada (Transplant Coordinator), Mrs. Hemavathi (Transplant Coordinator) and Mr. Marulappa LN (Transplant Coordinator) of MOHAN Foundation Bangalore participated in a session that was attended by around 34 employees of Geolife, Karnataka region

  • Jeevasarthakathe and its role
  • Organ allocation system in Karnataka
  • The burden of organ failure and need for organ donation
  • Importance of a Donor Card

  During the interaction, the audience raised questions related to the following topics:

  • Green Corridor
  • Criteria to be a donor
