  Online awareness session on organ donation on 31^st August 2020 was organized by Drushti Daan Eye Bank and the theme was “New Normal of Eye Banking”.

  Mrs. Lalitha Raghuram, Country Director of MOHAN Foundation, was invited as a Chief Speaker of the program.

  There were about 75 members that participated in the webinar.  The entire program went for 2hrs 50minutes.

  The session was started by Dr. KC Padhy, President of Drushti daan, and Mrs. Nalini Sarma, secretary, Drushti daan who spoke about the journey of Drusthi daan and Dr.Sujatha Das Medical Director of the Eye Bank spoke on Eye banking during Covid-19 pandemic.

  Shri Pradipta Kumar Mahapatra IAS, Addl chief secretary (H & FW), Government of Odissa was the Chief Guest and Prof (Dr) CBK Mohanty, DMET Government of Odissa was guest of honor for the program.

  Mrs. Lalitha Raghuram as “Chief speaker” of the program spoke about MOHAN foundation’s activities and the importance of Organ Donation. She also shared her experience as a donor family member which inspired all the participants.
