Organ Donation Awareness at a Temple in Belagavi

  • MOHAN Foundation was invited to conduct an awareness session on organ donation at Kamleshwar Temple, Kangralli for general public in Belagavi on 03rd March 2020 by
    Mr. Basrikatti.  

    Mrs. Sheetal Mundada of MOHAN Foundation spoke on the following topics:

    • Introduction about MOHAN Foundation
    • Brain Stem Death
    • Circulatory Death
    • Skin donation
    • Jeevasarthakathe and its role
    • Organ allocation system in Karnataka
    • The Burden of Organ failure & need for organ donation
    • Importance of a Donor Card

    Around 600 people listened to the talk. MOHAN Foundation is thankful to Mr. Basrikatti for the opportunity and appreciates his commitment to the cause.
