An organ donation awareness camp, in association with Jeevandan was organised at the Omega Bannu Hospital in Warangal on 13th August 2021 to commemorate the Organ Donation Day. Mr. Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar, Member of Legislative Assembly was the Chief Guest for the occasion.
Dr. Bhanu Chandra, Manager-Operations, MOHAN Foundation delivered a talk on organ donation and transplantation. He explained the two types of death and the organs and tissues that can be donated in both cases. The transplant law and the donation procedures were also explained.
Around 50 employees of the hospital attended the event.
