An Organ Donation Awareness Program was conducted on June 27, 2025 at Super Natural Dream Trust, an alcohol rehabilitation centre at Tiruvallur. The objective of the session was to educate the residents about the significance of organ donation and how it can save lives.
Mr. J.K. David Raja, spoke about organ donation, types of donations, brain death, obtaining organs through government and about the organ donation helpline number 1800 103 7100. He specially emphasized about myths and facts organ donation which majorly affected the rate of donation in India. Ms Merlin distributed information brochures during the session and answered the questions that arose.
A total of 30 residents and 2 staff members participated in the awareness program. MOHAN Foundation thanks SuperNatural Dream Trust for the opportunity.
