


On June 27, 2025 an awareness talk on organ donation was held at the Selveeswari Siddha Clinic. Around 25 to 30 people attended, including patients, staff, and visitors. The session began with a brief welcome and introduction by Mr Ganesh C, Senior project Executive, MOHAN Foundation, who shared the importance of learning about organ donation.
Mr Sam Vikash, from IIHMR Bangalore, then explained what organ donation is, why it is important, who can donate, and how the donation process works. He also spoke about common myths and facts, and how people can register as organ donors.
After the session, Ms Mridhula from IIHMR Bangalore led a Q&A session where the participants’ doubts were clarified well.
Green ribbons and brochures on organ donation and eye donation were distributed to all participants. The session went well and helped raise awareness about the life-saving impact of organ donation. MOHAN Foundation thanks Dr Selveeswari for this support to promote the cause.
