On 22nd of July 2019, MOHAN Foundation conducted an Organ Donation awareness programme at Aero Zumba Fitness in Imphal. The programme which began around 1PM lasted for more than one hour, and was attended by around 40 people.
Roma Devi, Transplant Coordinator at MOHAN Foundation explained about organ donation and why is it required in the country.
Some key points that were explained in the session are as follows:
A few participants asked about the process to register to pledge to be an organ donor and the organ donation process in hospitals. MOHAN Foundation is thankful to Aero Zumba Fitness for the opportunity.
