On 21st July 2019, MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness talk on organ donation at Jijayi Mahila Mandal, Shaniwarpeth, Nagpur.
The Jijayi Mahila Mandal was established in 2010 to help poor and uneducated people. Mrs Soniya Sable invited MOHAN Foundation to conduct awareness session about organ donation
Ms. Prarthana Dwivedi, Transplant Coordinator gave presentation with the help of PowerPoint presentation and covered the following points.
1. Concept of organ donation.
2. Myths and truth about organ donation.
3. Cardiac and brain death.
Some questions were asked by workers:
1. How people will get benefit from organ donation?
2. How anybody can contact you if he or she passed away in rural area?
Ms. Prarthana answered all the queries promptly. We thank Mrs. Soniya for inviting us for conducting session on organ donation. Mrs. Soniya Sable along with 30 workers attended the session and got the vital information about organ donation.
