  • On the occasion of Fire Service Week 2025, MOHAN Foundation organized an Organ Donation Awareness Talk on April 18, 2025 at the Fire Station in Ulwe Node, Navi Mumbai.

The session was conducted by Ms. Prarthana, Public Education Counselor at MOHAN Foundation, and was attended by 12 staff members of the fire station. The objective of the session was to create awareness about the importance of organ and tissue donation, the concept of brain death, and how one can pledge to become a donor.

The session was interactive and informative. Several staff members showed interest in eye donation, and some of them scanned the QR code to pledge for it.

Ms. Prarthana also shared the MOHAN Foundation helpline number to address any future queries or provide assistance in the organ donation process.

We sincerely thank Mr. Krishna Rathod for inviting us and supporting this meaningful initiative. The effort was well appreciated by all attendees and contributed to raising awareness among frontline heroes dedicated to saving lives.
