On the occasion of the Eutopia 2025 event at Oberoi International School, Mumbai, MOHAN Foundation set up an organ donation awareness stall to engage with students and parents on the life-saving importance of organ donation. The initiative was led by Ms. Sakshi, a representative of MOHAN Foundation, who actively interacted with visitors, provided information, and addressed queries about organ donation.
Throughout the day, the stall received an enthusiastic response, with over 200 students and their parents visiting to learn about the concept, need, and procedures related to organ donation. Many were surprised to learn about the critical gap between organ donors and patients waiting for transplants, and expressed their appreciation for the awareness being raised at such a well-attended school event.
Ms. Sakshi explained the process of pledging organs, clarified common myths and concerns, and distributed informational brochures, donor cards, and pledge forms. The interactive nature of the stall helped build a comfortable space for discussion around a topic that is often misunderstood or overlooked.
A highlight of the event was that 3 individuals pledged to donate their organs, marking a meaningful step toward encouraging a culture of giving and saving lives.
MOHAN Foundation extends heartfelt thanks to Oberoi International School for the opportunity to be a part of Eutopia 2025. The event provided a valuable platform to reach out to young minds and their families, spreading the message of organ donation and planting seeds of awareness for a more compassionate and informed future.
