On 15.04.2026, comprehensive organ donation awareness sessions were successfully conducted at the Government Industrial Training Institute, Santhinagar and Government Industrial Training Institute, Mallepally Campus, Masab Tank, Hyderabad. The initiative was led by Venkatesh Kattela, Project Manager, under the aegis of the MOHAN Foundation, with the objective of educating and sensitizing young trainees about the life-saving potential of organ and tissue donation.
The sessions reached over 160 students and faculty members from diverse technical backgrounds. The programme was carefully structured to ensure clarity, engagement, and relevance, combining informative presentations with interactive discussions tailored to the students’ level of understanding. Despite the varied academic disciplines of the participants, the sessions were able to effectively communicate both the scientific and social dimensions of organ donation.
