On 1st April 2023, an awareness session was conducted on Organ donation IGGMC hospital and college by MOHAN Foundation's transplant coordiantor Ms. Bhagyashree, for the paramedical students. Dr. Vaishali, Dr. Dalal, Dr. Umna and Dr. Aditya attended the awareness session.
At the beginning of the session Dr. Vaishali explained about the organ donation and brain death following which Ms. Bhagyashree explained about the procedure for organ and tissue donation and informed regarding pledge forms. Students were keen to know more about orga donation and they mentioned that they want to pledge for organ donation after having a discussion with their parents. About 50 students were present for the awareness session.
