On World AIDS Day, Anna Adarsh Matriculation School, Anna Nagar organized a AIDS awareness session and a session on organ Donation. MOHAN Foundation was also invited to give a presentation on Organ Donation for their XI and XII Science students. The session was held on 1st December 2014 at the seminar hall at 1 pm.
Dr. Sumana Navin, Course Director Dr. Hemal Kanvinde, Ms. Kavitha. S, Marketing Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation and Ms. Saroj Dhawan, Volunteer, MOHAN Foundation addressed the gathering. The session started with the welcome address by Ms. Jayalakshmi, Principal, Anna Adarsh Matriculation School. Ms. Kavitha. S delivered a talk on Organ Donation, the following topics were discussed:
At the end of the programme, prize distributions were done for the Quiz competition done on National Organ Donation Day - 27.11.2014. All students were so enthusiastic, participated during the session. Nearly 100 students participated in the session, information brochure were distributed.
