National Organ Donation Day Celebration was held at Sengunthar Engineering College, Thudupathi, Erode on 27th November 2014. Mr S. Mohanraj initiated a sensitization programme for the college students and invited MOHAN Foundation to speak on the concept of Organ Donation. Mr.Prakash K. Transplant Coordinator from MOHAN Foundation spoke about the importance of organ donation.
The programme began with a welcome address by Mr.nS. Mohanraj and he explained the importance of event. Mr.mPrakash K. spoke about the Concepts of Organ Donation. The following topics were discussed during the talk:
At the end of the programme Mr. S.Sivananthan Secretary of the college told the audience that already 500 students pledged their organs and the pledge forms were handed over to the transplant coordinator. Totally 400 staff and students participated in the programme and the secretary of the college gave a vote of thanks.
