On September 29, 2025, Central Railway Hospital, Nagpur, organized a Blood Donation Camp along with an Organ Donation Awareness Desk in collaboration with Government Medical College & Hospital (GMCH) and the MOHAN Foundation.
In addition to the blood donation activity, the MOHAN Foundation set up an information desk to promote awareness about organ donation. The desk was managed by Ms. Bhagyashree Nighot and Ms. Neha Sailwar from MOHAN Foundation, along with the GMCH team. They addressed queries related to organ donation, including the difference between coma and brain death, eye donation, and the online organ donation registration process. An Additional Divisional Railway Officer also visited the desk.
The event witnessed participation from around 30 individuals, with informative brochures distributed. Notably, one individual pledged for body donation during the program.
This initiative effectively combined blood donation with the promotion of organ donation, creating awareness and educating attendees about the life-saving impact of organ and body donation.
