Mr. Veera Atkuri, a member of IMPACT Foundation requested for a online awareness session to the members on the occasion of Impact Foundation Founder Mr. Gampa Nageshwar Rao’s birthday.
On 21st March 2025, Dr Bhanu Chandra of MOHAN Foundation conducted an online session on organ donation. He explained organ, tissue, and whole-body donation, the ways of organ transplantation, difference between cardiac death and brain death, concept of brain death and organ donation, Ethical and legal considerations, including the Transplantation of Human Organs Act (THOA), 1994.
Around 120 members of IMPACT Foundation attended the session. The session concluded with a Q&A segment, where participants asked queries related to organ donation.
