A one-day workshop on Blood and Organ Donation Awareness was conducted at PGGC, Sector 11, Chandigarh, to sensitize students about the importance of saving lives through voluntary donation. The session aimed to spread knowledge, dispel myths, and encourage active participation in this noble cause.
The session began with an address by Mrs. Preeti Gupta, who emphasized organ donation as the ultimate “gift of life.” A comprehensive scope on organ donation was covered, including:

The workshop witnessed active participation from around 120 NSS volunteers. Students were encouraged to register with NOTTO (National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization) to contribute to the cause and extend their impact beyond their academic roles. Both professors and students appreciated the efforts of MF-SRDF in conducting this meaningful initiative.
To further engage students, poster making and slogan writing activities were organized. These were not competitive but designed to encourage creative expression and reinforce learning. Participants crafted impactful posters and slogans that conveyed powerful messages such as:

The workshop proved to be a meaningful initiative, instilling values of compassion and social responsibility among students.
