In India every year thousands of patients die due to lack of life saving organ transplantation.
With the aim to spread awareness about organ donation MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum - Navjeevan team set an organ donation awareness information desk at “Science of Life Exhibition” at the Academic block of SMS Medical College, Jaipur. Organ models (Heart, Corneas, Liver and Kidneys) made from ashes collected from Varanasi were centre of attraction for the visitors.
The 11 day exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. U.S Agarwal, Principal, SMS Medical College on 15 February 2018. It will run till 25 February 2018. Dr. Agarwal also appreciated the efforts of MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum and said “MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum is doing a remarkable work in the field of organ donation”. Thousand of medical and schools student visited the program and got sensitized about the noble cause.
