On 26th March Organ Donation Ambassador Ms. Sangeetha K. (Intern,SRIHER) conducted an awareness talk on organ donation to the municipal cleaning and sweeping workers at Thiruvannamalai. The audience were given information brochures about organ donation.
Ms. Sangeetha first introduced the work of MOHAN Foundation to the gatherining of 45 staff and supervisors. Then she proceeded to explain the following topics under the Concept of organ donation: what organs and tissue cam be donation, types of death, brain death, myths and facts, how to pledge and importance of donor card.
47 people attended the session and some of officers and workers showed interest at the end of the session and 12 members picked up donors.
