On 8th March 2020, Mrs. Jaya Jairam was awarded the Woman Achiever's Award, by GIANTS Group of Chowpatty, Mumbai, in appreciation of her work.
GIANTS Group of Chowpatty is one of the chapters of GIANTS International that was established by Late Shri Nana Chudasama in 1972 and is well known for its service to mankind.
Mrs.Jairam thanked the organisers for bestowing the honour on her and she addressed the audience and shared her own story of how she got a second chance at life when her mother donated one of her kidneys to save her life. Having valued this priceless gift, she decided to work for furthering the cause of deceased organ donation. She motivated the audience to commit to the cause of organ donation and distributed informative fliers to the attendees.
