On 4th January 2023, MOHAN Foundation in association Nephrology Department of Gandhi Hospital visited the districts of Huzurabad, Karimnagar & Siricilla in Telangana to sensitise the patients suffering from end stage organ failure who can be benefited from a lifesaving transplant. Dr Bhanu Prakash who works as a Transplant Coordinator represented MOHAN Foundation.
Dr. Bhanu Prakash explained the necessity and importance of organ donation and explained in detail the key concepts of organ donation. He encouraged patients to register for life-saving transplants on the “Jeevandan” portal and emphasized the role of MOHAN Foundation in organ donation.
Nearly 120 patients have been sensitized on organ donation through this initiative in the districts of Telangana, which will go a long way in saving lives
