  On 6^th January 2023, MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness talk on organ donation for the staff of Corro Health in Kokapet, Telangana. The session was conducted in association with Ms. Preeti Nanda Naik who approached Hyderabad Team for an awareness campaign. Dr. Bhanu Prakash was the key resource.

  Corro Health is an organization that focuses on clinical revenue cycle solutions and a full-service global delivery model in both the US and India,emergency documentation technology provider. It also works with the T system and has expertise in advanced coding solution provider RevCycle+. It also is an I solution provider TCP Services and Analytics, and autonomous coding solution provider.

  Dr. Bhanu Prakash started the session by asking a few introductory questions on organ donation and then introduced MOHAN Foundation to the participants and kept the audience engaged throughout the session. The following were discussed in detail:

  • Organ donation and its need in the society
  • When and how does organ donation take place
  • Organs that can be donated during life and after death
  • Transplant waiting list in India
  • Brain death and clinical aspects of brain death
  • Difference between brain death and coma
  • Role of MOHAN Foundation
  • Eye donation

  Dr. Bhanu Prakash motivated the audience to pledge for Organ Donation and explained the importance of a donor card.
